Podrobný popis

Ultra-short head for turning over heavy tips with light two-handed rods. Introducing our Spey Lite collection, and the Scandi Head. Designed for light double-handed duty and with a relatively long front taper for more delicate deliveries, the Scandi Head is ideal for smaller streams and trout Spey applications. Available in grain weights from 150-420, this two-colored head features a textured, black marker at the end of the head that serves as a visible notification on where to begin your cast. From riffling dries for spring steelhead to swinging streamers for trout, the Spey Lite Scandi Head is Spey on a smaller scale.

- Short head for quick casts and line control - Excellent line for swinging soft hackles, light streamers, and can be used as a dry-fly line with long leaders - Longer front taper for lighter, softer presentations - Designed for use with a shooting line on shorter two-handed rods and single-handed rods - Braided multifilament core; for use in moderate and cold climates - SA SCANDI LITE ### GR F (### = grain weight) - Tip recommendations: 150-210 grains - SONAR leaders 240-300 grains - 8’ UST Tips 330-420 grains - 8’ or 10’ UST Tips - Lines can be used with single-handed rods as well

Cleaning with soap and water on a cloth removes most of the dirt, but cleaning pads work even better. Properly cleaned, your lines will cast better and last longer, certainly a good trade-off for a couple of minutes of line maintenance. To use the cleaning pad, pinch the pad over the line so that the abrasive, non-foam side touches the line. Pull the fly line through the pad under some tension. Repeat this process until some of the fly line color is visible on the pad. Clean your lines every 2-3 outings, or anytime you think dirt is hindering their performance. The cleaning pads are easy to carry in your vest or tackle bag and can be used anytime, wet or dry. Note that flyline dressing can be used to reduce friction during competition- or practice casting scenarios, but we don’t recommend it for fishing.
